Lean Six Sigma

WSU’s Online Lean Management Programs

Many Lean Management programs generalize their curricula to the point of "one-size-fits all," effectively contradicting the value-added approach inherent to Lean thinking. Our program requires participants to use real-life applications from their own work and experience through the projects and assignments used to apply the concepts they study.

Any health administration graduate with an interest in operations/quality improvement, patient satisfaction and cost containment MUST attain this certification as it was the one thing that instantly stood out on my resume during the numerous interviews I went through, both for jobs and fellowships. I wholeheartedly recommend that anybody with career aspirations in quality improvement should attain this certification.

Asynchronous delivery

While interaction among participants through the use of discussion forums, online chats, and email correspondence is encouraged, participants are not required to be online simultaneously.

Personalized instruction

The Master Black Belt instructor personally mentors and reviews each final project, providing valuable, individualized feedback and assessment of the Lean concepts.

Completing the course

Participants who complete each course in the series will receive a Certificate of Completion and Competancy, suitable for framing. In addition to the personalized feedback and quality instruction received, participants will be prepared to seek certification by testing or additional training required from the national/international association of their choosing.
